Life As I Live It

So it snowed sometime late last night or early morning. Either way it snowed and it is very cold.

There is also a lot of ice, and more bad weather is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.  I really dislike the cold weather, especially as I don’t seem to be able to get warm enough once I get so cold.

In other news I’ve still been working on this blog-site. I am having a lot of difficulty with this. I’m wondering if perhaps I picked an extra hard site to work with. Hopefully, I’ll be able to figure this out soon.  Especially as I would like to add things to this site.

It is about one thirty now in the morning, and it is very cold outside. The wind is also pushing the cold inside. Hopefully this cold spell won’t last too very long.

Tomorrow instead of working on this blog-site, I think I’ll work on the house it is in exceptionally poor shape. I do believe every room is a mess at the moment. So this is something I need to get some things done.

It may also be easier for me to focus with the house a lot cleaner. I’d say a little but basically things need to be a lot cleaner.

Ideas and things for this site will be coming along but slowly. I’d like to start filling up some of the other pages. I am hoping to add a poem or two to the page I’ve made for sharing the poems I write. I look forward to doing that, and hearing feedback from those who will read them.

With that said tonight is a very cold night and a dangerous night to be out on the roads. If you must be on the roads tonight during this winter weather please be careful, as there is a lot of slush and ice on the roads.

If you don’t absolutely have to go out just don’t.

Simple Steps to Stay Safe

The Thrift Owl Insights

About

The Thrifty Owl Insights is a new blog-site that will encourage you, inspire you, and possibly entertain you.

We’ll talk about saving, about cleaning or clearing clutter. We’ll even talk about making our own cleanings supplies. Over time we’ll even add pictures.

We’ll encourage you to keep going even when life hands you one mini-crisis after another, or even major crisis one after another.

We’ll lend to you and yours ideas of ways to produce your own income using your own natural abilities and resources.

(These may or may not produce exactly what you desire for income but we’ll share ideas with you, maybe you’ll find an idea that helps and will work for you and yours.)

We’ll lend to you and yours inspirational quotes and verses from the Bible that have encouraged us as we’ve dealt with many things over time.

We’ll encourage you to stick together when life is not pleasant and you have every reason to pull apart.

So stick around and plan to spend some time getting to know us as we work towards encouraging you, inspiring you and possibly entertaining you.
